My name is Larry Freeman. I am the operations manager for the Southeastern Operations Division of Nicholson Manufacturing Co. located in Pell City, AL. Nicholson is a manufacturer of heavy equipment pertaining to the forest industry specializing in Nicholson Debarkers. These Debarkers are used throughout the world. We have been using TempForce’s services since the opening of the Pell City facility in 2000. TempForce has supplied Nicholson with a variety of workers for our manufacturing process ranging from labor type work to certified welders. Some of these TempForce workers have become permanent employees of Nicholson. One example is: one of the TempForce workers I was using as a laborer was working through TempForce thinking of TempForce as just a temporary job only. Just something to do until a “real” job became available to him. He had some computer skills but there was nothing available in this area at the time. After working for Nicholson through TempForce for a few weeks a job in our shipping and receiving department became available. I asked him if he was interested in a permanent job with Nicholson in our shipping and receiving department. He took the job and after a couple of years with us is now our shipping and receiving manager. I highly recommend TempForce as a supplier of not only temporary workers needed during some of the busier times of the year but also as a supplier of excellent full time employees. TempForce does the work of filtering through the personnel needed so my company doesn’t have to. A lot of times a perspective employee says they are more qualified than they actually are therefore making our company’s or any company’s job more difficult finding the right person for the job. TempForce eliminates this hassle for our company and supplies us with already proven personnel. I am currently using and will continue to use TempForce for our personnel needs.
